The 27 of January,A day of Victory for the Palestinian Prisoners
The Palestinian Cabinet's resolution that considers the Jan. 27th of each year as a day of solidarity to free the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails, and to redress this segment of people, who struggle patiently and steadfastness. Actually, they come in the second rank after the Palestinian martyrs, who sacrifice their life for an IndependentPalestinianState.
This significant resolution made by the Cabinet, puts the Palestinian government in an advanced position of our people and the homeland' issues, because the prisoners concerns all our people and they are major issue in the Palestinian – Israeli conflict.
Therefore, we expect to have a more detailed resolution to be translated on the ground by a set of events and actions that confirm the presence of prisoners' issue at all levels.
Thus, the Ministry of Education highly appreciated the Palestinian cabinet headed by Dr. Salam Fayyad, considering the Jan. 27TH of every year as a national day to mark the issue of prisoners. The Ministry sees that solving the prisoners issue must be by freeing all prisoners inside the Israeli jails, as they have the right to live freely on their homeland.
